Job Description
The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University (USU) is seeking a Tenure-track Faculty position in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) systems. The successful candidate will design, develop, model, and conduct flight testing of eVTOL concepts, apply system identification & control, and study the environmental impacts of AAM. The department fosters research, attracts funding, and establishes expertise in autonomous aerospace systems.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Strong background in engineering fundamentals
- Evidence of emerging research streams with potential for extramural support and publication
