Job Description
The Janitorial & General Maintenance Technician at Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle will perform basic repairs and upkeep to the facility in various sites, including apartment buildings, resource centers, and housing facilities. This role involves groundskeeping, trash disposal, general repairs, and preparing vacant units for occupancy. The position also requires operating standard appliances, completing apartment turnovers, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the building.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required; trade school or industry experience preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience
- Ability to read and write in standard English
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and set priorities
- Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of adults with multiple challenges
