Job Description
The University of Mount Saint Vincent seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor in Biology or Chemistry for a full-time, teaching-focused, non-tenure-track position. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to working with diverse student populations and a proven record of curricular innovation, teaching excellence, and advising.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biology or Chemistry (PhD preferred)
- Experience in active-learning pedagogy and a commitment to engaging students beyond the classroom
- Dedication to continuous pedagogical improvement and a collaborative approach to working within a learning community
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student body, including underserved, minority, and first-generation college students
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
