Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and engaged postdoctoral scientist to join our growing ovarian cancer research team. This is an opportunity to take the lead on the wet laboratory aspects of a new CRUK-funded research programme investigating the mechanisms of chemoresistance acquisition in ovarian cancer, with a view to identifying therapeutic opportunities to prevent and reverse chemotherapy resistance.

Requirements

• A PhD in cancer research or related biomedical discipline
• Experience in a range of wet laboratory skills, including disease model engineering
• A track record of delivering high quality research
• A keen interest in cancer research that bridges the gap between fundamental science and clinical application
• Highly organised and motivated; able to work both independently and as part of a research team
