Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering (Smart Manufacturing)

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is seeking a faculty member for the Mechanical Engineering (Smart Manufacturing) Department at the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor ranks. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating courses, as well as engaging in research and innovation.

Requirements

• PhD in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related field
• A minimum of 5 years of academic experience after the PhD
• A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience related to the field of study
• Competency in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
• Ability to use various educational technology and platforms
• Demonstrated academic and information literacy skills
• Scholarship and research ability
• Professional recognition and standing amongst peers
• Proven track record in publication
• Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences
• Digital literacy and fluency in technology systems
• Effective oral and written communication skills
