The Senior Financial Analyst helps senior management monitor the operating budget, revenue, and expenses. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to the development of long and short-term financial goals, business strategies and plans, and financial forecasts/models for CDC services.
Requirements
- Prepares and analyzes budgets and variance reports.
- Works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses.
- Serves as primary conduit to other University financial teams.
- Provides pricing and profitability analysis to CDC management for RFPs, client, vendor, and service provider agreements.
- Supports and develops related processes.
- Reviews and updates business and financial systems, metrics, dashboards, and reports;
- Analyzes expenses and profit indicators, alerts management to key trends.
- Works with CDC University procurement teams to fulfill competitive bidding requirements;
- Establish new vendors and service providers.
- May work with other administrators on the procurement process, allocates expenditures for authorization, and advises in communications regarding funding agencies, subcontractors, and others at the instruction and direction of others.
- Analyzes and prepares budgets, creates accounts, and works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses.
- Performs other related work as needed.
