Senior Assistant Director, Admissions

The Senior Assistant Director, Admissions will support the work of the Office of College Admissions, drawing on knowledge and experience of the admissions process. The ideal candidate will work well individually and in teams, problem-solve, manage projects, and act as a positive representative of the University of Chicago.

Requirements

• Manages an admissions portfolio, primary evaluator of applications for admission for that portfolio, and serves as a member of the Admissions committee.
• Delivers information sessions and specialized presentations, and participates in virtual and on-campus events for prospective students.
• Responds to inquiries via phone and e-mail providing a positive experience for all who interact with the department.
• Reviews applications.
• Each Senior Assistant Director will have ownership for a special project in the office.
