Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR-ENT to maintain integrity of the operating system environment. This position requires a strong background in IT systems and software, including Windows and Linux operating systems, scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and related experience.
Requirements
- Install, configure, and manage university IT systems and software
- Troubleshoot system outages and user issues
- Document installation and update procedures and problem resolutions
- Be available for on-call duties as a member of a rotating schedule
