Job Description
The Emergency Management Coordinator supports the hospital's preparedness, response, and compliance efforts related to emergency management, working closely with the Emergency Management Department and Committee to develop, implement, and evaluate the Training and Exercise Plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including emergency planning at the local, regional, state, or federal level
- Experience in healthcare emergency or disaster planning
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Completion of required Incident Command System (ICS) courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, G-191, IS-700, IS-800
- Completion of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
