Job Description
The Medical Assistant functions as a member of the clinic's patient care team, performing technical, patient-related functions and clerical functions in the ambulatory setting.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (One year program at Vocational School) -or- Completion of an accredited LPN Program -or- Completion of an accredited EMT Program – or – a current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
- Current CPR certification
- Enjoys working with variety of patient ages and conditions/diagnosis
- Excellent organizational, internal and external service excellence skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present oneself as a professional
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work well independently and within teams
- Ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner
