United Schools is a nonprofit organization in Columbus, Ohio that operates public charter schools to transform lives and communities through education. The Science Teacher position is a full-time opportunity to support academic and social-emotional growth of students in a classroom setting.

Requirements

• Holds a B.A./B.S. degree and has the ability to secure the appropriate teaching license
• Prior experience working in urban schools and/or communities (preferred)
• Commitment to using data-driven instructional practices and techniques outlined in Teach Like a Champion 3.0
• Relentlessness in writing, refining, and internalizing curriculum, lessons, and assessments
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Comfortability with Google products for effective communication and completion of job responsibilities
