Intermediate Care Facility Administrator

Intermediate Care Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Elizabeth Levinson Center and the Adult Residential Housing Services.

Requirements

• Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
• Be eligible to be licensed in the State of Maine as a Multilevel Administrator.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field or in Administration, Health Care Administration, Long Term Care Administration or a Bachelor’s Degree in any field, plus proof of a Certificate of Advanced Study in Long Term Care Administration or 6 credit hours in management along with at least 6 credit hours in health care or long term care.
• Proof Influenza vaccination; Tuberculosis test; proof of immunity from MMR, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis-B.
• Must be able to squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 20 pounds, and push and pull against potential resistance.
• Adequate vision, reading, writing and documentation skills, and hearing to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Ability to maintain assigned work hours, having sufficient endurance to perform tasks over extended periods.
