Inventory Control Manager

The Inventory Control Manager oversees all inventory management activities within a 3PL facility, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role involves leading the team, implementing best practices, collaborating with operations, warehousing, and clients, and utilizing WMS systems to drive inventory optimization. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, operational experience, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control policies and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root cause issues, and provide corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and service level agreements.
• Lead and train inventory control staff.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and report on inventory activity.
• Prepare and present inventory reports for leadership and customers.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Process Improvement teams.
