Job Description
Unified Patents is seeking an experienced Patent Counsel to join their growing legal department. The role involves managing patent office proceedings, drafting and litigating motions, drafting and supporting senior attorneys, and supporting various IP functions. Strong technical background and willingness to explore new technologies are highly valued.
Requirements
- 5 years of PTAB experience (drafting, filing, litigation, deposition)
- State Bar and Patent Registration Examination pass
- Independent work and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Preferred: Patent Office examination experience, algorithmic/code-based subject matter experience, Semiconductor/analog/integrated circuit, and fabrication experience, legal writing experience
