National Project Manager (Open to external applicants)

UNDP is hiring a National Project Manager to manage a project aimed at eliminating or reducing man-made harmful chemicals and chemical formulations in Mongolia's cashmere and leather tanning industries. The project will foster responsible production practices and enhance resource efficiency. The National Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management, mobilization of project inputs, supervision of project staff, consultants, and sub-contractors, and ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives and results.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Agriculture, Textile industry, Public Administration, Environmental Sciences, or related field
• 2 years (with master's degree) or 4 years (with bachelor's degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects
• Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages
