Job Description
Underdog is a sports betting and fantasy sports company seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. The company is growing rapidly and has built successful games across various sports. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web experiences and contributing to the ongoing development of the design system. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building modern web applications
- Solid understanding of React and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, functional components, etc.)
- Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and state management libraries such as Redux
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc)
- Experience using GitHub and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
