Job Description
Underdog is a rapidly growing sports gaming company seeking an Engineering Manager to design and scale their data and machine learning platform. The role involves technical leadership, team management, and collaboration across product, engineering, and analytics teams. This position offers the opportunity to influence both the technology stack and strategic impact of data at scale.
Requirements
- At least 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, and/or machine learning roles
- 2+ years of experience managing 5+ person teams
- Strong familiarity with distributed computing and data storage mechanisms on the cloud environment (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Track record of delivering scalable and innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies
- Demonstrates strong ownership and thrives in a fast paced environment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
