Technician & Field Service Officer

As a Technician & Field Service Officer, you will provide technical support services to our Defence customer at various Defence locations throughout Australia and/or overseas. The role requires a high level of knowledge of electronic components, the correct use and care of general purpose test equipment and general workshop skills.

Requirements

• Provide technical support services to our Defence customer at various Defence locations throughout Australia and/or overseas for short durations
• Assume the lead role in offsite activities which includes managing Ultra Maritime technicians and sub-contractors
• Testing, maintaining, and diagnosing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical hardware/equipment
• Undertake maintenance and upgrade tasks which will require interpreting circuit diagrams and following the instructions contained in technical manuals and test procedures
• Provide services that require a high level of knowledge of electronic components, the correct use and care of general purpose test equipment and general workshop skills
• Identify and implement process improvement
• Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions
• Ensure adherence to approved work practices with specific responsibility for ESD protection and adherence to defined workmanship standards
