Ultra Maritime is seeking an experienced Project Engineer II to guide the development of advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems for the naval market. The role involves leading technical planning, execution, and risk management, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, computer Science, or related field
- 6+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
- Proven experience leading interdisciplinary teams and delivering complex systems
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and sonar technologies
- Experience across the full project lifecycle in the defence industry
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVMS), Control Account Management (CAM), and Microsoft Project desired
- Ability to make informed decisions on scope, schedule, cost management, quality, and efficiency
- Skilled in motivating teams, managing stakeholders, and influencing outcomes without relying on authority
- Professional Engineer (PEng) preferred
- Capable of acquiring a NATO secret security clearance and a Canadian Controlled Goods assessment
