Job Description
The Senior Accountant – Fixed Asset & Lease will support company's fixed asset accounting processes and lease accounting, ensuring compliance with ASC-842. The role involves collaboration with business unit leadership, conducting accounting close processes, and providing financial analysis for subsidiaries. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence three days a week.
Requirements
- Partner with project managers and asset owners to monitor capital project activity.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger.
- Assist with the accounting and reporting of leases under ASC 842.
- Maintain supporting documentation and schedules in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Contribute to various accounting and finance initiatives.
