Job Description
Bowhead is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join their team at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, VA. This full-time, onsite position involves designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems. Duties include directing system engineering, preparing directives, and ensuring proper training and equipment.
Requirements
- BA/S in Electrical Engineering
- Ten (10) years experience in electromagnetic system design, analysis and test
- Experience with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems, including pulsed power, RF, Laser, and CIED systems
- Experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems is preferred
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift 20+ lbs and stand for extended periods
