Senior Project Manager - UIC Construction

UIC Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive vertical construction experience in Alaska. This role involves leading projects from estimation to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence, and potentially managing larger, remote construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience working in rural Alaska.

Requirements

• Lead the estimate, planning and implementation of multiple projects.
• Mentor other staff as needed.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Manage project budget.
• Manage project resource allocations.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Monitor and report on progress of projects to appropriate parties.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes.
• Travel to remote locations
• Complete contract closures and ensure formal acceptance of project deliverables.
• Develop and execute action plans to address cost overruns, delays, or scope of work changes.
