Job Description
UMIAQ Design is seeking a Registered Civil Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of challenging projects throughout Alaska. The role involves planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects, requiring collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in dynamic environments.
Requirements
- Registered as a Professional Civil Engineer (or Environmental Engineer) in Alaska, or currently registered.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Civil Engineer in a design-related role.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD drafting is a plus.
- Ability to travel to remote project locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions
