Lead Technical Artist (F/H/NB) [AAA Project]

Ubisoft is a global leader in the video game industry, seeking a Lead Technical Artist to contribute to the success of their various blockbusters, including AAA productions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Technical Art, solid technical skills, and experience with 3D modeling software, scripting languages, and game engines. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a team. Reporting to the Technical Director, the Lead Technical Artist will be responsible for researching, innovating, and ensuring technical quality in the production.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Technical Artist on AAA or AA productions
• Strong technical skills in performance, optimization, and method
• Proficiency in at least one 3D modeling software (Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Designer, Maya, etc...)
• Strong scripting skills (Maxscript, Python, etc...)
• Significant experience on a game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, proprietary engine, etc...)
• Global understanding of the artistic workflow and pipeline in a realistic style
