Technical Product Manager (426)

We're looking for a highly technical Product Manager to join a small, senior team and help define and drive a data-heavy product from day one. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply curious about data, comfortable working hands-on with technical concepts, and passionate about building clean, reliable, and well-structured reporting products.

Requirements

• Helping define requirements and understand all technical and data-related moving parts.
• Own the product backlog: write clear and well-structured tickets, ensure board hygiene, and keep priorities aligned with business goals.
• Act as a technical Product Manager, working closely with engineers on architecture, data flows, and implementation trade-offs.
• Deeply understand and discuss data pipelines, ETL processes, and data consumer use cases.
• Write and review SQL queries to validate data, support analysis, and ensure accuracy of reports.
• Ensure good RESTful API practices and proper integration between backend services, data platforms, and consumers.
• Be a power user of data platforms and BI/reporting tools, with strong opinions about report quality, consistency, and usability.
• Represent the needs of data consumers and ensure reporting delivers clear, reliable, and actionable insights.
