Azure Data Engineer

UBDS Group is seeking a Data Engineer to work as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver modern data solutions, contributing to the design and build of data pipelines, models and analytics products.

Requirements

• Experience translating business questions into data or analytical requirements
• Good SQL and Python skills for data modelling, transformation, automation and analysis
• Experience working with data models in data warehouses, lakehouse environments or analytics tools
• Familiarity with modern data engineering frameworks and tools
• Experience working with cloud data platforms on AWS or Azure
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals
• Basic analytics and statistical understanding
• Awareness of AI/ML concepts
• Understanding of data governance, security and quality concepts
• Experience communicating insights through data visualisation
