U.S. Bank is seeking a Data and Solutions Engineer to work with teams across EACX to migrate analytics use cases to cloud. The role will provide expertise and consultation on cloud tools, solutions, best practices, and patterns to help build solutions that use Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ETL/ELT, and Azure ML.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
- BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with programming languages & tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure ML
- Familiarity with SAS, Alteryx, PowerBi, Marketing workflows as well as banking datasets
- Five or more years relevant experience in analysis, reporting and data visualization
- Experience with at least 1 modern visualization tool (ex. PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy 10, Domo)
- Experience leveraging tools for basic last mile ETL and data wrangling
- Knowledge of data quality
- Experience with standard relational databases (DB2, Postgres, Greenplum, SQL Server, Azure)
- Experience with GitHub
- Strong communication skills to support business consulting and collaboration with business partners
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in an agile environment
