IT System Admin - San Mateo, CA

This contract IT System Administrator role in San Mateo, CA requires a strong system administrator with experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM/SMS, SQL, Citrix, and virtualization. The ideal candidate will be able to document environment standards and generate diagrams, while also displaying strong teamwork and independent work skills.

Requirements

• 5-7 years’ experience in IT Systems Administration and Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012 / 2016 administration
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), LAN/WAN topology, IT processes and procedures, security, and systems implementations
• Experience administering and configuring SCCM/SMS
• Experience administering clustered Microsoft SQL instances
• Experience administering Citrix preferred
• Experience with optimizing storage access across the WAN preferred
• Experience with backup systems preferred (NetBackup, Quantum)
• Experience with engineering application support and system architecture such as Perforce is a plus
