Job Description
VIRTUAL and FLEXIBLE tutoring is available through Teachers seeking secondary math or ELA tutors to work with students in grades K-12 across the United States. Tutors can choose to work 8 AM - 10 AM ET or Wednesdays/Thursdays, and teachers receive compensation for tutoring and lesson preparation. The role emphasizes providing equitable access to education by empowering teachers to support at-risk students. Tutor's pay varies depending on the engagement.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Math or ELA in the classroom
- Experience teaching in an online environment
- Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom
- Availability to teach in evenings and weekends (Wednesdays and Thursdays)
- Bachelor's degree in Education (or equivalent experience) - or active teaching credential
