The Geoscience and Remote Sensing department at TU Delft is part of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, which is committed to outstanding international research and education in the field of civil engineering, applied earth sciences, traffic and transport, water technology, and delta technology.
The QUASI project aims to unravel the fine scale interactions between air and water in tropical lakes, specifically Lake Victoria. The two PhD positions will focus on observational analysis and modeling simulations to advance our understanding of these interactions and their impact on weather and climate modeling in the tropics.
