Job Description
We require a Quality Engineer to join our busy Quality department at our site in Abercynon, South Wales. The primary purpose of this role is to monitor the effectiveness of the relevant sections of the Quality Management System (QMS) through the monitoring of KPI’s and the application of systems and audits.
Requirements
- Understanding of quality management tools
- Ability to identify potential quality improvement activities
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to work in a structured and methodical way
- Understanding of the requirements of a robust manufacturing QMS
- Ability to understand product requirements and defining effective measurement systems
- Ability to analyse data and generate reports and presentations
- Experience in conducting system and process audits
- Knowledge and use of measuring equipment such as Profile 50 / Shadow Graph
