Job Description
This contract is for a self-driving car operator (safety driver) in Austin, TX. The role involves operating autonomous vehicles, monitoring systems, ensuring safety, and providing feedback to engineering teams. No CDL is required, and the focus is on hands-on experience with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of U.S. driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or drug/alcohol offenses in the past 5 years).
- Proven ability to drive safely in all road and weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of Austin-area traffic laws and routes.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and situational awareness.
