Job Description
TRM Labs is a blockchain intelligence company focused on combating crime and creating a safer world by leveraging blockchain data. They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning and LLM models that power their AI Engineering platform. The role involves collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and researchers to analyze data, build agentic systems, and monitor performance in production environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working in a data science role
- Strong fluency with Python and SQL
- Experience developing code in team environments (git, notebooks, testing)
- Experience evaluating and building LLMs, embeddings, knowledge graphs, and information retrieval systems
- Familiarity with ML/AI methods (NLP, RLHF, embeddings)
- Strong ownership mentality
- History of taking strong ownership over systems
