Burn Table Operator

We are seeking a motivated Burn Table operator to set up and operate overhead cranes to load/unload steel, verify finished product meets specifications, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Always follow Triple-S safe methods of work and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment as assigned.
• Perform routine checks on equipment and notify supervisor of any damages or concerns.
• Operate and maintain Burn Table to cut materials according to CAD drawings or work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
• Measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications.
• Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions.
• Transfer appropriate data onto materials.
• Keep a clean, and well organized work area.
