Job Description
The Manager, Accounting is responsible for supervising a team of accountants, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, and ensuring that account balances are up-to-date and compliant with standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Chartered Accountant (mandatory)
- Typically 10+ years in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 to 5 years managing a team within accounting
- Experience in a progressive accounting environment for a Fortune 1000 size company and/or medium or larger public accounting firm with high volume transactions and a disciplined close process
