Job Description
The Sustainability Engineer is responsible for designing systems, processes, and products that protect the environment and ensure compliance with North American state and federal requirements.
Requirements
- Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and secure necessary permits.
- Promote energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable material use.
- Develop and implement systems for waste management, pollution control, and renewable energy.
- Lead company-wide environmental management and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage hazardous waste and conduct environmental audits and reporting.
- Drive implementation of HSE, quality, and sustainability standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ASME).
- Monitor quality metrics and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across departments to solve problems and improve customer satisfaction through Lean Principles.
