Technician III

TransCore is seeking a full-time Technician III to join our team in Arlington, Texas. The Technician III performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of customer equipment, including electronic toll collection systems, RFID, ANPR, and traffic management systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) strongly preferred
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Must maintain driver’s license in good standing as verified by Transcore
• Must be comfortable working at heights that could be in excess of 50 ft
• Proven expertise in electronic toll collection systems, RFID, ANPR, and traffic management systems
• Expert-level troubleshooting and repair skills for both hardware, software, and networking components
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), system integrations, and communication systems
• Strong leadership and project management abilities
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges
• Ability to develop and deliver technical training
