Job Description
MedHQ, LLC is seeking a qualified medical billing and coding specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, be self-motivated and an excellent communicator, and have a strong understanding of ICD-10 coding guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding
- ICD-10 coding guidelines and procedures knowledge
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, billing software, and claim submission platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
