Job Description
Toyota Research Institute (TRI) is seeking a Human-Machine Interaction Research Intern for a Summer 2026 position. This internship involves designing and evaluating interfaces to improve the safety and performance of drivers using human-centered artificial intelligence. The intern will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative interventions and present results in journals and conferences.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience designing and running experiments with human subjects.
- Passion for developing and applying human-centered artificial intelligence for social good.
- Reliable team player.
