Job Description
Townsquare Media Group is seeking a strategic, proactive Legal Counsel to serve as the firm's primary advisor to senior leadership and the Board. The role involves shaping legal strategy for a media company, advising on employment law, HR partnerships, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions. This is a remote position with a focus on collaboration and collaboration with internal teams.
Requirements
- J.D. from accredited law school
- Active bar membership in New York State or a state with reciprocal admission
- 5+ years of legally responsible practice experience
- Substantial experience with M&A or complex commercial transactions
- Business acumen and strong executive presence
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with broadcast station acquisitions, FCC transaction approvals, broadcast licensing
