Road Maintenance / Heavy Equipment Operator (Snowplow)

The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a Maintenance Operator I to join our Roads Division in the Public Works Department. This is an in-person position with a $1,000 sign-on bonus available.

Requirements

• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, construction and operation of roadways, drainage facilities, fences, and other public facilities
• Drive trucks and operate light, medium and some heavy equipment
• Operate compactors, front-end loaders, snow plow and similar equipment
• Build signs; prepare posts; paint and install traffic marking and facilities
• Plow and clear snow and ice from streets and sidewalks
• Mow roadway ditches and trims shrubs and trees
• Place and finish concrete or asphalt materials
• Repair and install drainage facilities and structure
