Arts Camp Coordinator - Summer Camps 2026

We are seeking an Arts Camp Coordinator to join our Summer Camps 2026 Supervisory team. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration, program delivery, and supervision of Town of Milton camp programs, including the extended care program, at one or multiple facilities. You will ensure that all activities are safe, fun, and appropriate for the participants. This position reports to the Camp Director.

Requirements

• Completion, or working toward the completion, of a post-secondary degree/diploma program in Education, Recreation & Leisure or a related field
• Minimum two (2) years' experience working in a camp environment with demonstrated experience in supervision and program planning
• Experience working with children with exceptionalities
• Experience or interest in the Arts — including visual arts, crafts, drama, theatre blocking, dance, choreography, and/or musical instruments such as guitar, piano, or ukulele — is considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C is required
• HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) is required
• HIGH FIVE Quest 2 certification is required
• Behaviour Management Systems Training (BMS) or equivalent is required
