Instructional Design Intern for the Graduate School of Education

The Instructional Design Intern will work directly with the Instructional Designers at the Graduate School of Education to support and deliver on projects, playing a pivotal role in their success. The intern will experience hands-on what it is like to create, design, and evaluate courses, curriculum, and content.

Requirements

• BS/BA required; must be currently enrolled or recently graduated from MA or MEd in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning Science (Andragogy) or related field from an accredited university or equivalent experience in the field of training and development, education, or communications.
• Demonstrated high level of determination and creativity
• Ability to work independently—a self-starter
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mentality
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of teaching and learning strategies to promote active learning, evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and the use of technology to enhance student success
• Demonstrated ability in developing learning outcomes, instructional activities, and assessments
