Job Description
Torex Gold is seeking an Engineer, Automation and Control to manage the programming of the Operational Technology (OT) system for the mining and fixed equipment teams in the Guerrero Gold Belt of Mexico. This role focuses on continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and ensuring maximum availability and efficiency of mining operations. The company is the second largest gold producer in Mexico and offers substantial financial returns.
Requirements
- Education in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or a related field
- 4 years of experience in industrial instrumentation
- 4 years of experience in distributed control systems
- Domain of software logic designer, step7 (intermediate level)
- Domain of software Factory Talk view (intermediate level)
- Domain of software VWware v Sphere basic
- Ability to identify, maintain and solve control problems of motors
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
- Knowledge of machine virtualization
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming (ladder and blocks)
- Basic Excel skills
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams or plans
- Intermediate Excel skills
