Job Description
Quality Control Lab Technician position available in Troutville, VA. Responsible for testing Portland cement and raw materials to meet ASTM standards. Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and supportive culture offered.
Requirements
- Perform chemical and physical tests according to ASTM standards
- Provide vacation relief for process control and physical testing employees
- Test water samples as required by VA Department of Environmental Quality Permit
- Collect all material samples necessary to ensure quality control
- Process data from chemical and physical analyses to generate reports
- Test specialty masonry products for color match during production
- Audit lab equipment regularly to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks
- Source and place orders for new lab equipment as needed
- Implement and administrate new lab procedures
