Manufacturing Engineer I - Optical Coatings

Thorlabs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I - Optical Coatings to oversee and improve the optical coating equipment and methods employed in the production process. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in a relevant engineering position or related position in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in a relevant engineering position or related position in a manufacturing environment
• 4+ years of experience of optical thin film coating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with thin film software and a good understanding of optical thin film design
• Strong experience maintaining and troubleshooting coating equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Materials or Physics, or related Engineering discipline or equivalent in related experience
