Grants Accountant

Third Way is a national think tank and advocacy organization that champions moderate policy and political ideas. The Grants Accountant is responsible for managing financial aspects of grants received by the organization, including tracking grant expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit or grants-related role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
• Experience with grant compliance and reporting requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
