Job Description
Program Leaders work with students in a part-time, in-person setting, providing a safe and nurturing environment, and serving as a positive adult role model. They lead groups of students, implement classroom and behavior management strategies, and provide homework assistance and academic enrichment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- District-specific - 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test
- Ability to speak and write Standard English
- Pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
- Negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years
- At least six months experience working with a group of 10 or more students
- Advanced Math and English skills (K–8)
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Bi-literate (Spanish preferred)
