Retail Deputy Manager

The Works is looking for a Retail Deputy Manager to join their team. As a Retail Deputy Manager, you will help keep the store running smoothly, lead the team, and inspire customers to read, learn, create, and play. The role involves taking responsibility for the team and store when the Store Manager is unavailable, fostering a welcoming store atmosphere, and driving retail sales and commerciality.

Requirements

• Stand-in for the Store Manager, taking responsibility for all metrics and the team if they’re away
• Foster a store atmosphere that's enjoyable, welcoming, and inclusive
• Demonstrate progress in driving retail sales and achieving high performance across all key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead and coach the team by working shoulder-to-shoulder to provide an outstanding retail experience
• Utilise product knowledge and charm to introduce additional offerings
• Be a merchandising master, effortlessly placing products in both planogrammed and non-planogrammed spaces
