Systems Engineer - NETE

As a Systems Engineer with Weir Marine Engineering, you will design and integrate complex information systems for Canada's next-generation naval fleet. You will work on the design and integration of systems that will be installed on the new River-class Destroyers, ensuring our naval forces have the most advanced capabilities available.

Requirements

• Systems engineering experience
• Experience with systems engineering in the defence industry
• INCOSE certification
• Virtualization, cloud, IP networking, RF communication, cross domain solutions and big data knowledge
• Structured cabling systems knowledge
• Cyber security principles and best practices knowledge
• Project management experience
• Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and IBM DOORS proficiency
• Excellent English writing skills
• Canadian citizenship with 10 or more years residing in Canada
